ABOUT EG FILM

Elisabet Gustafsson is a film director based in Stockholm with one foot in Paris.
She started her career as theatre director and after compleated univsersity studies, she moved to Paris for 4 years where she produced short documentaries and TV-reportages for SVT and YLE with a Swedish colleague. In 2002 she returned to Stockholm where she created EG FILM. Since then, the production company has produced and directed many event and industrial film, often within design and for prestigeous brands.

Today, Elisabet Gustafsson has moved on to focus more on directing and fiction.
Her short films have been screened at festivals around the world and she has several times been awareded with grants from the Swedish Art Grants Committee. which supports talented and professional Swedish artists in different disciplines.
Being fluent in English as well as in French, it has been a natural step for her to work with international film teams already on short film level. Her first international was in Estonia, and she is now an active director in France, thanks to her Parisian producer, Marie Sonne Jensen at La Voie Lactée.

Elisabet Gustafsson's strength lies in the attention to details and her strong interest of intergrating the visual with the sound and the rythm into the storytelling.
