Another TV-station has acquired our Hen, this time the French speaking TV in Switzerland, Télévision Suisse Romande, TSR. We have also received the good news that Folkets Bio here in Sweden, wants to distribute it in the spring. More information later!

The first Swedish projection of The 7th Pullet was taking place today at Filmhuset, Stockholm and organized by The Swedish Filminstitute. The film is part of the project Lunchbio, where one short film is looped during lunch hours every Wednesday. 118 people came, perhaps the record since the project started! At the same time, we are happy to announce that the film has been acquired by SVT, The Swedish Television.

The mini-tour of The 7th pullet is on the road! The first two screenings is taking place Friday the 27 of September at Cinéma Club d'Etoile and several people of the team will be there. The tour then continues to Alsace and screening on the 24th at l'Odyssé, the Bel Air in Mulhouse on the 25th and finally the last projection is taking place at Saint Grégoir in Munster, on Monday the 26th of September. taking place being screened Luna Productions, the distribution company based in Paris, has taken The 7th Pullet under its wings and the first public screening is taking place in Strasbourg on June 27th. A previous film of the director, Let Us Dance , has been selected by another organization in the French capital, Cinemas 93, for a video art program touring in the Parisian suburbs. Children of 3-5 years old are being exposed to traditional animated films as well as video art productions, and the director is very happy that her film is involved.

The post production of La 7ème Poule/Den 7e Hönan/The 7th Pullet has finally come to an end. After sound editing and mixing in Paris in February, the film is being mastered in Stockhom this week. After years of preperation, this very special Hen and Elisabet Gustafsson's fifth short film, is now ready to fly on its own and the director has moved forward writing new scripts.

The shooting of La 7ème Poule/Den 7e HönanThe 7th Pullet is now taking place between 25 September to 2 October in Strasbourg and other places in Alsace. The project has recently also received support from Swedish Film Institute, SFI, and most of the locations and actors are already found.
More news: I väntan på Examinering / Awaiting Examination has been selected to Hamptons International Film Festival that takes place October 7-11. The director is planning to be there for the screening. The film has recently been screened at Shqip Film Fest i Kosovo and Imaginaria Film Festival, Bari, Italy.

La 7ème Poule/Den 7e Hönan/The 7th Pullet is under pre-production. This will be Elisabet Gustafsson's fifth film but first to be shot in French. French producer is Marie Sonne Jensen/La Voie Lactée and Swedish co-producer Maria Larsson Guerpillon/dfm AB. The film has so far support from the regional film funds of Alsace and the city of Strasbourg, France 2, Swedish Film Institute SFI, CNC and PROCIREP. The film that was shot in September in Alsace/Strasbourg, is based on the short novel "The Seventh Pullet" by SAKI.
